In partnership with Nationwide Building Society we are able to bring you insurance cover for landlords. Nationwide Landlord insurance, provided by Liverpool Victoria Insurance Company Limited (LV=), is designed for landlords who:
- own or manage a let residential property
- are responsible for insuring the building or freehold
- let properties with tenancy agreements of six months or more
- have a single or multiple properties on the same policy

Key benefits as standard include:
- Comprehensive buildings cover including damage caused by fire, flood, storm or accidental damage
- Loss of rent cover if there is damage to the property (up to 20% of the buildings sum insured)
- Cost of alternative accommodation if there is damage to the property and it becomes uninhabitable (up to 20% of the buildings sum insured)
- Property owners' liability up to £2m for compensation and legal expenses due to third party personal injury claims which occur on your property
- Legal expenses up to £100,000 for any one claim
- 24 hour legal help line if you need legal advice relating to any property disputes

Need extra cover?
For an additional premium, you can also choose to add any of the following:
- Landlord contents in communal areas of the property, you choose your cover limit to suit your needs
- Subsidence cover for the building (and contents if selected) as well as loss of rent cover up to the sum insured selected.
- Employer's liability, to include your legal liability for claims from employees suffering an injury during the course of their employment with you. Up to a maximum of £10,000,000 (inclusive of legal costs and solicitors fees)
- Terrorism cover, for the building (and contents if selected) as well as loss of rent cover in England, Scotland and Wales up to the sum insured selected.
We do not offer cover for DSS tenants, holiday homes and long term unoccupancy (over 60 days).
